Mission Statement
The DM Firm is a consulting agency that builds inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems through community engagement, placemaking, and curated experiences. We serve as a strategic bridge, bringing together entrepreneurs, stakeholders, and workforce leaders in spaces to spark bold conversations that lead to meaningful impact.

Community partnerships
We’ve delivered workshops for more than 200 entrepreneurs in partnership with organizations such as the Staten Island Business Outreach Center (SIBOC), Women’s Business Center, Bridge Street, Jerome Avenue BID, Bed-Stuy Gateway BID, Luminary, 90 Business Launch, and Childcare Project, among others.
Leading Citywide Outreach for NYC’s Small Business Community
From 2021 to 2022, we served on the leadership team of the Small Business Resource Center, overseeing outreach efforts to businesses across all five boroughs of New York City through local Chambers of Commerce.
1 Million Cups Regional Representative
The DM Firm proudly serves as one of the Northeast regional representatives for 1 Million Cups (1MC), a supportive and inclusive space where entrepreneurs and their communities gather to connect, tackle business challenges, and uncover new opportunities
Brunch Pitch
In response to the civil unrest of 2020 and 2021, we launched Brunch Pitch, a program designed to lower the barrier of entry for Black entrepreneurs. As a result, it has supported founders in New York, New Jersey, and Baltimore, creating a space for them to pitch their ideas, connect with investors, and present to local leaders and media personalities—including those affiliated with Shark Tank, FOX45, and celebrity marketers.
